The History of Disaster White Supremacy

In 1898, Wilmington, North Carolina. A white supremacy campaign conducted in part from a newspaper edited by Josephus Davis. In the long run, some nearly 1,500 black folk left Wilmington forever. They just had to move away. Some of them first moved into swamps to try to survive. And it worked. It not only destroyed black political activity, they took over the whole state of North Carolina for the cause of white supremacy for about 60 years.
