The Cossack Rebellion in Poland

Polish landowners were putting increasing economic pressure on the peasant cossack classes. The result, again, was, you guessed it, rebellion. When they were on their last legs and close to being suppressed, the cossacks appealed to the muscovites for support. It brought 13 years extra destruction to lithuania and ukraine. And also put the wind firm up the kingdom of sweden.
