CSS Custom Properties for Component Level Tokens
Everything is using CSS custom properties so that people aren't changing it at runtime, but that way you can at least see it. It reminds me of the implementation of meta's blueprint system where they have that sort of like custom prop that's like a snowflake ID. They're allowed to totally discard the system and completely go outside of it. But in order to do that, you have to have your own like little snowflake code you put in there.
