"I don't think I've ever seen it depicted in this way," says Darren Aronoski. "For a lot of people with eating disorders that's kind of what happens" The movie did the big really well and was really honest about as well, he adds. A lot of people who have disdain or not very much empathy for people with eating disorder they like they don't understand that component of it according to him.
