What's Wrong With Anger?

In the buddhist text tradition, anger is a moral vice. According to asanga, it functions as a condition for harmful actions. It's something on the basis of which one engages in inflicting harm. When we consider our contemporary perspective,  the american psychological association recognizes anger as healthy human emotion. We generally think of it as motivating us to right wrongs and to avoid being vctimized or taken advantage of ourselves.
