The Critical Idea of the 21st Century

Computational language is something where you can go look at the documentation, you can go run it, you can see what it means. It's not something where you abstractly say oh the computer understood what I was talking about there's an operational meaning to that which is the computer can take what I'm talking about and actually run it. Wolf Malphur from 2009 is a sort of large-scale successful example of this kind of thing. The idea of computational language as this medium for thinking about things computationally is sort of the critical idea of the 21st century actually.
