Flying a Kittie Hawk

Wilbur Lillelenthal was interested in controlled flight. He wrote to the Smithsonian asking for information about it. They sent him an English translation of a book written by Louise Pierre Mouliard. For Wilbur, flight had become a cause and Mouliard one of the great missionaries of the cause. The brothers built a full-size glider with two wings that they intended to fly a kitty hawk.
