Zack: I'm a huge fan of retrieval notes. Students watch the video first, and then they write down everything they remember. sketch noting is another really cool way to do notes. i use an eye pad for making instructional vidios with explain everything. And it records as you're annotating the slide,. It also records your microphone so you can basically deliver lecture as if you were actually lecturing in class.
