Dr. Seuss and the Movie Mulberry Street
There are definitely some problematic racial connotations about certain dr. Seuss stories and also some cartoons he drew in World War II Particularly some heavily anti-Japanese ones and some other racist images that he drew. I don't want to sound like an apologist But I do think he can be separated from those opinions in some contact but you do find stuff like in what happened on Mulberry Street. There's like a Super racist like China man Character sure in it, you know, so like you can't get too far away from it. It's it is there It is part of him and it's something that people are grappling with still today, right?
