Hyperion, the World's Tallest Tree

An arctic shark, normally found in icy waters, makes a surprise appearance in the tropics. Researchers studying tiger sharks off the coast of beliz were baffled when they hoisted what one biology student described as a weird looking creature. The enormous, blue eyed, black and wrinkly beast turned out to be a greenland shark, a species that can live from 250 to 500 years, mostly swimming in the arctic ocean. Weather is still a challenge in kentucky, where clean up efforts continue following last week's historic flooding. But in the midst of the sadness, are also stories of heroism.
