The Tech Titans - What Did the Conference Call Tell Us?
Microsoft reported a modest earnings beat off a 229 basis with the numbers down 6% year over year. Initially, after investors sold those numbers, Microsoft stocks got up 4% in head showers trading. But then it dropped like a rock when management gave us their guidance for the next quarter. The midpoint of their forecast implies revenue shrinkage year overyear.
