The Blind Spot of Silicon Valley in the AI Space

The potential for economic change is just similar to how software interacted with the world. We spent a lot of time kind of like poo poo-ing, not in bad faith, but just sort of saying that Silicon Valley had blind spots when it came to the software space. I think one of the big problems actually is that there is a community of like AI safety experts in Silicon Valley, but they have so little DC experience and their talk isn't very helpful to policymakers here.
