Aesthetic quality is just thinking about things as you perceive them rather than in any other way. And you might think that it means something like the study of things we can perceive from some certain point of view. I suppose you could argue that it's to do with pleasure just in perceiving things as it were, and then that involves not only beauty, but charm or ugliness.
