Saving Money for the Kids?

Olga and her husband are in their fifties. They've got two kids, 22 and 19. Husband works for the federal government. He's got access to a thrift savings plan. Daughter is doing an unpaid internship at retail good. These unpaid internships suck. What do you think about saving money for the kids?
