The Orchid Thief by Susan Orley

Susan Orley's new book, The Orchid Thief, is based on an article she wrote for the New York Times. She was asked to expand on a number of things in her original article. A lot of it ended up being stuff that she had in her head as like background for the rest of the article while she wrote it. And this book is the opportunity to expand every single one of these things and just relay every interesting fact that she'd found about it as she goes.
