How Did You Get a Record Deal in the Seventies?
I was having a blast. I built my following from opening for my heroes in folk clubs to being on festivals and being on the one orthe opening act at three o'clock. And then i would open for cat stevens or james taylor. You know, all these people that spent their twenties and thirties, they've stayed loyal with me. So i'm feeling the harvest of that,. All that leg work, and giving up personal life, you know, time at home because people are still coming to see me five decades later.
