Can You Be Fluent by Reading and Listening?

Many times you just forget that you're doing a language learning because the story is interesting to you. The law says I like to read Diary of Wimpy Kids. It's fun and easy, perfect, very good, very, very good. Can you be fluent by reading and listening as well? Yes, I think that's the combo you want. Just choose an easier book. If you bought the book, don't throw it away. Keep it for later. Sometimes you can come back six months later, whatever, and try again.
