The Role of the Working Class in Ecological Politics
I'm honestly not sure that the working class is going to play the lead role in ecological politics for reasons that Andreas Moms pointed out. The best organized workers often happen to be the ones who are slightly better paid, have relative advantages over the majority of disorganized workers. And when it comes to what Gramps you call the economic corporate mode of organizing, they're most inclined toward a kind of narrow corporatist or sectional sort of logicwhen it comes to their interests. But this ties back to the question of de-growth and the very aggressive way in which he attacks de-growth as a mode of austerity politics.
