Design and UX Research - What's the Difference?

I know you had mentioned previously when we spoke in offline that it's hard for you to decouple research from design, right? So about how much of your workload consists of UX research and how much of it is UX design. And so I would say my typical day, I end up doing a pretty even split of research and design. 35% research, 35% design, 30% agency, workshoping and consulting made up those numbers.
