What Was That Moment?

In the ancient greeks, they talk about a something called the damon. They externalized this entity, which is, you could say, you're potential. And in that night, it was just like, ok, here's your path. Here's what you're going to do. Ah, here's why your life has been good and bad the whole time of it. I wanted there to be some kind of truth, at least to the idea of something greater in the mythology. i didn't have a specific religion in mind or a specific context in mind, but all of em talked about a greather, greater you, no purpose.
