The Great Fire in London
Fire spread to warehouses on thames streets, full of londoner's most flammable goods. Cart drivers massively raised their prices so desperate families could escape. Some people even broke into houses or stole from those people escaping. King charles the second and his brother, the duke of york wanted to show they were handling the situation. They made sure that people saw them acting heroically.
