Is There a Reanimation of Popular Political Participation?

Longer term trend of hollowing out democracy and bringing in thingsof technocratic ot of rule is going on for a long, long time. What we've propped what we've seen over the last five or six years is some sort of attempt to have some sort of return to democracy. It's a bit difficult to talk about that, though one of the ways people talk about it is in terms of populous threats from the right and the left,. But some sort of a reanimation of popular political participation in sort of form i would say.
