Are the Visions Really Divine or Are They Just Like His Own?
The movie sort of leaves it ambiguous while kind of like leaning in the direction of their being real supernatural stuff. He does come across like three different prophets too. You get Defoe's character, you get Bjork's character and then the final. Other beard guy who had Defoe's head. So like throughout that you're seeing he really has all of these things in his life that are leading him to this moment.
