i think voters choose theyr politicians and not the other way around. Drawing excising surgically, ah, you know, populations that you don't think you can get to support you a isn't good for democracy. The most invidious type of jerry mandering for decades has been incumbency protection. Only 30 plus 30 out of four hudre 35 seats are like actually compeos, 90 % non compits. That's an incredibly bad thing for democracy.
