Introduction
There seems to be a conscious effort by these government to protect the domestic economy from foreign competition. One sign of this has been the rise in the average tariffs that have been imposed on imports over the last decade or so. But there has also been similar barriers raised on the capital upon tes well. For this brings the question as to whether the external protectionist policy of the government actually compatible with the gomon promise of liberalizing indastronomy.
