The Cost of Catholic Education Is a Scaling Issue
In the United States, when Heather was a little girl, there were 5.5 or 5.6 million kids in Catholic education and 13,000 schools. And today there's 1.6 millionKids enrolled in 5900 schools. What's going on is our American culture more secular, why are fewer kids going to Catholic schools? I look at our Oakland diocese and you know, some of this is can be traced pretty clearly to demographics.
