The Future of the World Is Here Already
i think on some level, the book is very much about, what is this world that we're going to pass on to our children? My son asked me recently, sike, why do grown ups get to make all the decisions? And i said, honestly, i don't know. I'm not exactly sure. We're not always operating in our own children's best interests. That's certainly a big theme ofhthe book, like mat not only is the future of the world lying in the hands of the children, but that they have to deal with the damage that was done by past generations.
