The Importance of Clear Boundaries in Code

Useful code by definition is hard to delete because it's being useful exactly but i'm just wondering if that's like a bad attribute of code. If you have a lot of call sites then what you're dealing with is useful code. I think theapi is just less important than the sheer number of times it's being called sometimes isn't a number of calls somehow indicative of usefulness though i give code is useful it's going to be called more and so  if it's easy to understand oh yeah that's great that’s like a severe win i see.
