Within the Kaku tradition, Chantong was not very much taught. There are only a few works which mentioned Chantong but not really systematically and only occupationally. And then once you have that taste, is that where Chantong comes into the picture? There's some sort of explanation; it's optional. But in reality, mind does not have this division into three.
