The Environmental Protection Agency Is Not Present Onboard the FPS

In December 2019, SO announced that they had begun production. In January 2020, fishermen reported seeing this vast fire in the sky. It turned out that SO was in fact flaring the gas and not re injecting it. The EPA has absolutely no idea what's going on there. They rely entirely on SO for information. So they are all self-reported. And the regulator pays no attention to its statutory duties.
