The Importance of Oxygen in ECMO

ECMO is a bridge to recovery, it's sometimes a bridge to transplant. We're getting better with these kind of devices, but we're not there yet. There's a really nice device that they have that's approved in Canada that has less pulsability and patients can walk around. Ms. Kay spontaneously reverted back to normal sci-fi rhythm. She was placed on amioderon to help maintain her sci-fi Rhythm. Dr. Gomberg, what is the general prognosis for this patient population as a whole?
