The Future of Epilarynx Tubes

A good performer is endowed with good anatomy. Epilarynx tube is just the right length. With a normal sized one, could I be trained to carry my voice over the orchestra pit? You certainly can be trained to sing but whether you will ever make it as a professional on the Covent Garden stage is a completely different matter. It does beg a very interesting thought process, ignoring for the moment ethics and morals, of whether in the future one might be in a position to modify surgically people's epilarynx tubes into good singers.
