Parenthood and Happiness

One recent estimate suggested that raising kids to age one child to age 18 um cost 267 thousand dollars. That's not including the cost of college. Parents are under a financial strain, and that could lower our well being. The third is sleep disturbance and fatigue, especially in those early years of parenthood.
