The Evolution of Plants and Fungus in the Silurian

In the silurian, we start to see vascular plants dotted in amongst this weird namotopite landscape. Ferns, horse tails, club mosses, that's exactly it. Then gradually transfer to a more vascular plant dominated eca system as we move through thesilurian. At about 380 million years ago, we start of see the advent of the first woody plants. But it would be things like this raised level of oxygen that you suggesting was back happening back then. That would have been the kind of thing that kicked off these levels of evolution.
