Gears and Wheels in the Natural World

A gear is a set of rotating machine parts with interlocking teeth. They use those teeth and rotation to transfer force, rotational force known as tork. Gives can also be used to gain mechanical advantage, or change speed of a rotationa force in a mathematically predictable way. We are the people of the wheel, well, especially the gear.
