Salvador Yende and the Copper Industry in Chile

In the 1950s, like 80% of income coming in or wealth coming into the country is based on on the copper economy. Most of the copper was owned by Kennecott company and Anaconda, the copper company. And that's going to come into play later after Yende ultimately gets elected and some of those US corporations start leaning on the US government to do something about the nationalization of the copper industry,. et cetera.
