i thought this was interesting, you know, taking notes on the books you're reading and then using those as jumping off points for your ideas. I also think there's some interesting things here, which i didn't really get before. He mentioned that charles darwin used to force himself to write down and elaborate on the arguments that were the most critical of his theories. You know, forcing yourself to see things from te other perspective. Also mentions in here, get the gist. And this is he defines it as a skill. As w develop that skill, reading becomes easier,. You can grasp the gist quicker, you can read more and less time.You can more easily spot patterns
