A, i think there's a lot of interesting preliminary data suggesting that a combination of dietary nitrate and citriline should be a pretty nice, pretty cost effective strategy for people who want to build strength and muscle. Unfortunately, the few studies that have actually tried to look at hypertrophy within that context, the training programs just weren't well suited for inducing hypertrophy. A, one of the things that kind of drives me nuts is that a lot of the protein recommendations are grams per kilogram of total body mass. And when you get to more extreme ranges of the body composition spectrum, i struggle to believe that that's the best way to scale it.
