Iliotar adopts the dwarves as his own, not as his own children, but he does sort of adopt them. He even says that there's a children adoption. And so I think, you know, henceforth we can include them in the larger umbrella of the children of Iliotar recognizing that they have a little bit different genealogy, if you will.
