The first thing i want someone to be thinking about if you're diving into self employment is how you plan to pay yourself. Many arch printers try to go as long as possible without paying themselves in order to keep more cash in the business. So rather than take a small pay check with what might be left over at the end of the month, treat your salary like a pay roll expense and let the business be responsible for paying you every month. It can be a very modest amount. But getting in that habit will really set you up for more success,. And it'll really help with the sustainability of the bus itself, as well as your ability to commit to it.
