When we look at a diagnosis of asthma, we look for somebody who has a compatible clinical syndrome. And if there's airflow obstruction, we'll look for a bronchodilator response. The problem with those criteria is that it didn't really factor in the differences in lung function that can exist based on gender, height, and age.
