Were There Any Pre Luca Cells?

We can't tell for sure anything about the pre loca cells because none, r none, are left for us to study right now. But what we can do is try to build systems that sort of look like them. We're building organisms that are simp an luca, but are built on the same architecture as luca. So it's akind fundamentally the same methabolism as the last news of our ancestor, buts much simpler.
