Introduction

Professor Michael Dunford is a visiting professor, Institute of Geological Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated with a BSc in Geography and MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Bristol. His interests are world development at multiple geographical scales from the local to the international.
