Social Media - I Don't Have Friends?

Study: Most insecurely attached adolescents use facebook after being admonished by their parents. It appears that face using facebook fulfils the need for care and affection, replacing and compensating for missing affection from family members. Using social media actually fulfils and compensates for the lack of friendship which sort of makes sense on a neuro scientific level or psychological level.
