The North Star of Purpose-Led Companies
I see so many new purpose-led brands emerging. They're almost at NGOs, if I'm honest. Milton Friedman said in the 60s and 70s that the purpose of business is to make profit. And now we're seeing businesses that have a conscience. So it's really rewriting the rules. It's 5,000 shades of green because you're always making some level of compromise. But what you're trying to do is say, we're on this journey. So we'll try and improve every year and get better and better and better.
