The End of Education
He talks about education being its own end. There's not a separate end to education. The end of education is to prepare you, to you to learn and grow. So even though he's talking a lot about the infant and the child in this chapter, i think whs er's really making the case that a proper education system means you never lose this desire to learn and growing.
