The interest rate has an enormous impact on how the stock market goes. It did not help that allan greenspan really did nothing at the 19 95 96 time frame to do something about these insane stock market values. And i think that historians, as they look back upon this, are definitely going to look at a few a fed chairmans and really place a lot of blame on some of their actions.
