Fosley's 'Dark Chamber'
The first version is in detroit. Seated above her is what's called an incubus, a small demon. curtains are opened up and there is a nightmare, the head of a horse coming in. And this is a nightmarish vision. She has been, one can only imagine, attacked in the night. It's an image which is deeply distasteful,. i have to say, from he 20 first century perspective, and is actually still rather shocking to day.
