Security researchers have found an intentional back door and encrypted radios that reduces their 80-bit encryption gate to a much smaller key. The radios have been in use for over 25 years to transmit important commands to vital infrastructure, meaning this vulnerability could allow a hacker to reroute trains and trigger blackouts. Microsoft and Amazon have teamed up with Mapping Company TomTom to release release the first map data set for their open source mapping project.
