The Future of AI
I think there's an excess of platform thinking being applied to AI. When Photoshop came out in the late 90s or early aughts, no one questioned whether Adobe should implement content moderation rules and have people watching how others were using Photoshop. But after the experience with mass centralized content distribution platforms, they're expectations that even creative tools which don't have those inbuilt sharing capabilities. If I choose to share something I make with Dolly or chat GPT, that's my choice but I'm going out and publishing it. There's still an expectation that the creative tools themselves should be governed or censored the way a mass social media platform might be. You shall, it's the internet version
